The 2011 HIV Care and Prevention Conference is designed to increase knowledge and skills of healthcare providers surrounding HIV/AIDS through evidence-based training and updates. The Conference will emphasize the critical need to provide quality, culturally relevant, and gender-sensitive care to our patients while addressing various risk factors, co-morbidities, and pharmacologic interactions. The Conference attracts approximately 200 healthcare providers from, but not limited to the counties of Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Monterey, San Benito, and San Luis Obispo.
Participants may register online and receive 7 continuing education units. This course meets the qualifications for 7 hours of CE credit for Registered Nurses, LMFTs and LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and the Arizona Nurses’ Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
