Services: mental health care for individuals and families. These services include specialized services for targeted populations and individuals with serious mental illness. Counseling serves a range of purposes, from assisting individuals in working through difficult issues to supporting individuals in developing their self-esteem and pursuing personal growth. Therapists provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to talk things through and to explore options and feelings. In addition to individual counseling in multiple languages, we offer group counseling and family counseling.

Fees are set on a sliding scale based on income. We also accept a variety of insurance plans, including TriWest, the health plan of active duty service members, National Guard and Reserve members, retirees, and their families. Our San Jose office accepts Medi-Cal. Students may qualify for a number of free sessions; please call for information.

Counseling sessions are available in our Palo Alto and San Jose offices, as well as on-site in a variety of community locations.

Languages: Counseling is available in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Cambodian, and American Sign Language, as well as several other languages.
